Preparation is key.

Someone once said to me long ago, "Expect the unexpected". That has been something I keep close to my heart. It is probably why I am always up on my toes and haven't been able to relax. I am always looking forward to unexpected challenges.

Keeping sentiments aside, I have another challenge for IS101. The next test seems to be tougher than Microsoft Word. I am having difficulties passing B.5.1 and B.5.2 with 80%. I am trying. Hopefully tonight or tomorrow, I will be able to get it. I will go to college tomorrow. I have to. I need to finish this semester by any means. Happy Easter!

  1. I hope you will be able to relax so you can focus on the practice materials for Microsoft Excel ^_^

Most students do find Excel challenging as they don't use it often or at all but you will succeed :-)

You will conquer Excel, pass MO-200, and finish IS101-3003, Spring 2023 strong!

  3. I too have found Excel challenging because it requires me to think in a way that I am not used to. Also, I tend to over analyze and do things the hard way. For me practice was key to get my mind to somewhat understand the program in its most simplistic form.

  4. I am on the same boat as you are. I am about to pull my gray hairs out going over and over Excel practices. I am sure you will be able to do what you set your mind to.

  6. Yes, we should try our best to prepare for it. But there are still too much unexpectedness, I think it is impossible to prepare for all.

  7. There are known unknowns and there are unknown unknowns. We can only truly prepare for the known unknowns but life always throws us into the unknown unknowns. You can do this!

  8. Preparation may seem dull and time-consuming when all you really want to do is dive into a project and start feeling like you've accomplished something. Especially when the deadlines are tight. But an ounce of prevention can mitigate a pound of intervention. Spending some time at the beginning of a project getting organized and mapping out a plan can save a ton of wasted time later in re-doing work or helpers twiddling thumbs because you don't know what work to give them next. In addition, taking the time to follow proper procedures can prevent problems from emerging later that waste time, present the company poorly to clients and put unnecessary stress and anxiety on co-workers.
